Why nylon bags for your console?
For decades people have been using nylon bags to service their executive shred console. They are relatively inexpensive, can be used in multiple manufacturer’s bins and provide consistency during servicing.
HERE IS THE REALITY OF SERVICING NYLON BAGS
- Bags can fall off hooks meaning you are picking up paper off bottom of unit
- Can be difficult to remove off hooks when overfilled
- Bags wear out and can be torn or ripped during removal or servicing
- Employees need to bend over or kneel down to remove and replace bags
- Most employees swing bags up to cart edge for servicing which can lead to back injuries
- Bags can be lost or mixed up with bags that don’t fit
In an effort to provide a solution that cuts down time and helps to avoid back injury, we have developed the Bins4 Quick Tip Rigid Liner. This unit has the same capacity as a nylon bag but can be serviced in less than 1/3 the time.
How the Liners work…
Each liner has three grip handles. The front handle is easy to access to retrieve the liner from the console and the two side handles allow the operator to lift and dump to either the left or right, depending on their preference or situation. Once the contents have been safely dumped in the collection bin, the Quick Tip Liner can be slid back in the unit without having to bend down at all.
The liners are designed to fit all North American made consoles. They are JCAHO compliant and slide in just below the bag hooks, giving you the ability to make any console a Quick Tip console.
The Math behind nylon bags (using $150/hr for mobile service)
60 minutes per hour……..Divide $150/60 min……………………………$2.50/minute per console
½ minute extra per bag…Multiply $2.50 x ½ min………………………$1.25/console
26 pick ups per year………Multiply $1.25 x 26 pick ups……………..$32.50
Total Extra Cost……………..$32.50 x # of consoles in the field…….$????
How’s that for an advantage in the industry?
